Books for Sale

The WLA's major fund raising activity is an on-going book sale. Volunteers staff the "best used bookstore in Denver" (Westword) in the "Book Stack", located in the University of Denver Mary Reed Building at 2199 S. University Blvd.

We have used, new and rare books on all subjects, including history, biography, anthropology, psychology, travel, business, education, religion, science, foreign language titles, fiction, crafts, and health. Academic, scholarly works and children's titles available. Paperbacks 25 cents each or five for $1. The Book Stack is a non-profit, volunteer operation run by the Women's Library Association/Friends of Penrose Library. Proceeds benefit the Penrose Library.
