A
silver metal handle with a silver metal loop at the end and a triangle shaped
piece of rubber held in place by the silver metal loop. The diagnostic hammer
belonged to Dr. Arthur L. Esserman (born 1898) who was an Intern at Children's
Hospital in Denver from 1924 to 1926 and practiced pediatric medicine from
1926 to 1952.
