dark brown leather case with gold embossing on right bottom corner: "Dr.
A. Esseman" (name is spelled incorrectly). The left hand side has two flaps,
the smaller section has "Cards" embossed in gold. There are documents inside
case titled "Recommendations for the care of the premature infant" dated
October, 1948. Belonged to Dr. Arthur L. Esserman (born 1898) who was an
Intern at
Children's Hospital in Denver from 1924 to 1926 and practiced pediatric medicine
from 1926 to 1952. |
