A black leather notebook with six metal rings inside. The inside of book has the appearance of an address book, but the owner used the book as a way to categorize symptoms and medical treatments, not addresses. The back cover of book has flap and several medical charts and treatments are inside. There is a white label inside: "A.L. Esserman; 1575 Gilpin; Denver, COLO. "Belonged to Dr. Arthur L. Esserman (born 1898) who was an Intern at Children's Hospital in Denver from 1924 to 1926 and practiced pediatric medicine from 1926 to 1952.
